She may not have a vast back catalogue to her name so far with this being just her second single, but New Zealander Alma Leta has already started to gain notice.
Produced by multi-instrumentalist Nik Brinkman, the Wellington-based electronic-pop singer-songwriter unveiled '18' last Friday (April 5), a reflective, melancholic follow-up to her debut release 'Aphrodite'.
Opening on hypnotic, hushed vocals and dark beats, '18' works through a sonic palette of beats and synths that are sharply executed in the crisp production.
