Dorset-formed three-piece LEECHES have just dropped their first new track of the year with 'Flowers in the Garden' via Leisure Records.

"'Flowers in the Garden' was written while we were feeling pretty aware of how little there is to do in this part of the world," says bassist and co-vocalist Jack Pearce. "You make your own entertainment here as it's not exactly a cultural mecca, but it has its perks. It sort of walks the line between the agitation of limited options and the comfort in the freedom of being disconnected from the bigger things."

The sub-four minute fuzzy, experimental psychedelic meets alt-rock track hits with biting guitars and a melodic vibe, before the whole collapses in on itself, with vocalists Ben Lowe and Pearce crooning "Hey my dude, how's it going my dude".

Catch LEECHES live next on June 8 at Wharf Chambers, Leeds (w/ Night Flowers).
