Billie Eilish has released her new single, her second of the year - 'my future'. Written and recorded during lockdown, and produced by brother Finneas, it is, she says, "a song that’s really really personal and special to me."
From a subdued start over a vintage soft synth, Eilish kicks the jazz-esque ballad into a faster pace halfway, as she sings, “I’m in love but not with anybody here/I’ll see you in a couple years.”
“When we wrote this song, it was exactly where my head was at - hopeful, excited and a craaaazy amount of self reflection and self growth."
