Coves - John Ridgard & Beck Wood - have shared their latest track ‘Shot To The Wall’, taken from their new EP ‘Spectrum’, out on April 13 via Nettwerk Records.
Their shoegaze-influenced alt-rock style, suffused with scuzzy guitars and psych-tinged layers, that wss displayed on their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Soft Friday, together with US and European tours with The Raveonettes and St. Vincent, have found them a strong following over the last 12 months.
Now, the Leamington Spa pair are set for their own UK headlining tour which starts this Wednesday (March 4) in Bristol. For the Birmingham and London shows, Beck and John will be joined by two drummers on stage. See full dates below.
‘Spectrum’ is laced with driving riffs, propulsive beats and glacial atmospherics, spiked with Beck’s chilling lyrics of lying wolves, spurned lovers, star lights and dark nights that strike like a shard of glass to the heart. Take a listen below.
