[Video] Kurt Vile - Life Like This

With a new album - 'b’lieve i’m goin down' - out on September 25 thru Matador, Kurt Vile follows up first album cut - 'Pretty Pimpin' - with 'Life Like This'.

Featuring Vile on piano and guitar, the song comes with a video from director Adam Avilla. Opening with dashes of animation and footage of Vile in the studio, it soon turns into a trippy animated dreamworld.

In a press release, Avilla stated that, "'Life Like This' is "a story about getting at the heart of inspiration and the surreal disjointed journey that the pursuit entails. I feel that artists of all disciplines can relate to such a notion of getting pleasantly (or sometimes unpleasantly) lost in your own thoughts, and from them reap inspiration for our best work."
