Track Of The Day :: Witching Waves - Twister

Little Indie first heard of the lo-fi Witching Waves close on two years ago when they - then as a two-piece - put out 'Concrete' as a single, and duly earning our Track Of The Day accolade.

After releasing their debut album ‘Fear Of Falling Down’ in December 2014, and being joined by Ed Shellard on bass, Emma Wigham (vocals, drums) and Mark Jasper (guitar, vocals) are now back with new material.

First taster is ‘Twister’, coming from the London noise-pop band's second album, ‘Crystal Cafe’, out on February 26 via Soft Power (UK) and Happy Happy Birthday To Me (US). With a bouncy driving pop beat, punchy bass line, and angular guitar chords, Emma swings an edgy vocal over the top of 'Twister''s fuzzy DIY sound.
