Track Of The Day :: Øllebirde - Trouble

Words: Ellie Ward

After forming while in London, Fabrice Ordioni, Jeremy White, originally a duo, bonded with Margot Kurti at a Camden open mic night, then moved to Paris to sow the seeds of what has turned into Øllebirde

And by the sound of the debut track from the indie-tronica trio, 'Trouble', they have the makings of a band who we will not be hearing the last of. And given that they have Tim Bran on board in the producer's chair for their first album - he who helmed recent works for Rhodes and London Grammar - as you may gather, Øllebirde exhibit a similar alluring and emotive style.

'Trouble' will certainly trouble your senses with its lustrous textures, exquisite harmonies, and Kurti's voice so dominant, yet ethereal enough to send a shiver down the spine.
