London quartet Electric Pyramid may just be about to release their debut single, '1989' - out on June 9 via Transistor Project - but they already have a European tour lined up supporting no less than Queen.

Drawing inspiration from 70s through to present via bands such as Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, and Queens of the Stone Age, Electric Pyramid themselves - who are currently recording their debut album with producer John Cornfield (Muse, Supergrass) - ooze out some heavyweight riffs and sleazy rock vocals in a four-minute belter of a first offering.
