Watch :: Sunset Sons - Remember

Words: LB

I will make a confession here. I watched this Sunset Sons video, to upcoming single 'Remember', through twice before I started even paying attention to the song. The shirt. It was all about that yellow gold patterned shirt on vocalist Rory Williams' body that had me transfixed. Was it silk (be lovely in silk if it isn't)? Or cotton, or linen even? And what exactly were the figures printed on it? And where can I get one? So, you see, many questions.

The Anglo-Australian quartet - who have just played Y Not Festival, before returning to the UK for Reading and Leeds festivals and a Europe/UK tour later in the year (see dates at end) - have aired the clip - which was filmed at their Goldcoast Oceanfest headline appearance in June - to this latest track to be lifted from their debut album 'Very Rarely Say Die', the fastest-selling debut of the week when it was released earlier this year.

'Remember' not only showcases that shirt, but also Williams’ effortlessly passionate vocals – the emotive lyrics sung over the piano with casual sophistication. It's an instantly catchy tune and firm fan favourite, with crowds at their live shows singing the lyrics back to them word for word.

'Remember' is out on August 26.
