Listen :: Sunjacket stream debut album 'Mantra'
Words: Ellie Ward
Little Indie has previously featured a selection from Sunjacket's just released debut album 'Mantra', namely 'Not Enough', 'Creepy' and 'No One's Around You'. Now we can all get our ears on the full 20-track work, which the Chicago four-piece are streaming.
Co-produced by Fraser McCulloch of Brooklyn's Milagres, 'Mantra' weaves dark-driven, at times ominous, experimental synth-pop around lush guitars, and lead vocalist Bryan Kveton's impressive vocal delivery that is attention-catching in its slightly detached manner.
Little Indie recommends: Grandstanders, Creepy, No One's Around You, Alligator.
