There's a touch of cerulean skies, swaying palms, and lapping waves about this latest single from London swoonies Swimming Tapes.
Out now on Hand In Hive, 'Tides' is like a late summer breeze as it gently caresses the ears in its dreampop haziness and seductive wafts of layers of guitar reverb. It's the third single from the five-piece, biy the first on which guitarist Louis Price takes on lead vocal duties for the first time - and makes a woozily fine job of it too.
Catch Swimming Tapes live at London’s Mirrors Festival on October 29, along with Bat For Lashes, Allah-Las and Bill Ryder-Jones.
