Listen :: Spectres stream new album ’Condition’
Words: Jane Davies
Bristol's noise-mongers Spectres have just released their album ‘Condition’ last week (March 10) via Sonic Cathedral.
Recorded by Dominic Mitchison in the band’s home town, and mastered by Frank Arkwright (Mogwai, 65 Days of Static) at Abbey Road, London, it's louder and more abrasive than their 2015 debut 'Dying', but also a real progression. It sounds huge and adds a genuinely innovative and confrontational edge, partly inspired by last year’s remix album, 'Dead'. Check out the nine track record below.
Spectres embark on a UK tour from next week. See dates further down.
