[Video] Parekh & Singh - Ghost

Having just played The Great Escape this weekend, Indian dreampop duo Parekh & Singh - Nishcay Parekh (vocals, guitar, keyboards, synths) and Jivraj Singh (drums, drum machines, effects) - share their new video for single 'Ghost'.

Directed by Misha Ghose (who also worked on the band's previous video for 'I Love You Baby', I Love You Doll'), the band's latest offering continues in the vein of its predecessor, painting a bright and colourful picture of their native country.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the video the band explain:

"We wanted to tell a story with this one. We were interested in more narrative than our last video, but still balancing it with the visuals that we really want to showcase to the world. The song itself is about loss and longing, so we went for some juxtaposition in the visual language".

Parekh & Singh play London's Courtyard Theatre on May 23.
