Directed by Finn Keenan, The Academic's video treatment for their July-released single 'Bear Claws' - a previous Little Indie Track Of The Day - somewhat disappointingly features not even one single bear's claw (!). It does, however, opt for plenty of optical illusion in the black-and-white chessboard setting, as the band sing out about that, "late night girl calling through a phone / She never really loved you so just leave it alone".
