There's an infectiously twinkly rhythm to this shimmery dreampop new single from Liverpool's SPINN, produced by Chris McCrory of Catholic Action. From the superb opening through reams of reverbed guitar riffs, it is three minutes well worth luxuriating in.
'She Takes Her Time', released yesterday, is the first track from the SPINNers' EP, which is expected out next March on Modern Sky UK, and follows this summer's jangly pop single 'Notice Me'.
Vocalist Jonny Quinn describes the song as “a little pop tune to listen to when you find yourself ‘low-key’ in love with someone, they may be unattainable, they may be the one for you, who knows? You’re going to have to listen to find out.”
