The debut single from Scots teens Parliamo, 'Weekend', premiered by John Kennedy on Radio X, is rapidly catching attention. Not just for its youthful energy and punk’n’roll spirit, but because as first ones go, the Perth five-piece have hit the ground running.
“It’s about the ups and down that come with losing yourself as you try to find yourself in your teenage years," says 17-year-old vocalist Jack Dailly, of the four-minute infectiously poppy, yet mature, earworm anthem, "all the while keeping the undying optimism that everything is going to be okay”.
