Welsh teens The Brocklebank share new 'Youth' EP title track
Words: Linn Branson
After last autumn's 'Problems', South Wales pop-rock teens The Brocklebank - who Little Indie introduced here this time last year - are back with their new offering for 2018: 'Youth'.
The catchy lead single and title track of the Pontypridd quartet's upcoming second EP, released on April 20, has an early video teaser, directed by Ryan Nicholas, unveiled yesterday.
The song, reveals vocalist and guitarist Curtis Hicks, is about "doing everything you can to preserve the naivety of being young. And, I suppose, all the fun that comes with that. The words were written as a stream of consciousness during a time I felt very lost. I was an adolescent really struggling to come to terms with the fact that I was about to become an adult."
Watch both the 'Youth' clip, above, and the video for instrumental EP bonus track 'Driving@Night', below.
The Brocklebank play an EP launch show on April 20 at The Big Top in Cardiff.
