The colour's red for Manchester band New Luna on latest ‘Red Music’

Manchester’s alt-rockers New Luna return with their third single, the self-produced ‘Red Music’, released last week.

Melding a concoction of dream pop and post-indie to sublime effect and further solidifying their status in the city’s bustling alternative scene.

“It’s a very direct and raw sounding song that goes on a trip through a few different feelings and places," states guitarist Zack Bamber. "Musically, it might sound upbeat and pleasant, but Tommy’s [vocalist Tommy Deedigan] lyrics heavily offset that, creating a sense of almost sarcastic melancholy in both the floating breakdowns and the heavier drops."

Catch live at Band On The Wall, Manchester on December 23.
