Premiered by John Kennedy on Radio X last night (March 13), new East London four-piece On Video come out strongly with their debut single, ‘Ghee’.
The track is the first cut from their debut EP, ‘Clap Trap’, which will be released later this year through AWAL / Rex River Bay, and was recorded at The Premises in Hackney and mixed by Rich Cooper.
The fuzzy, fast-paced 'Ghee comes with a trace of garage influences that work in with the propulsive guitars, big hooks and some ear-grabbing vocals by Hassan Anderson.
The band play their maiden gig on March 21 at Paper Dress Vintage in London, followed by a support tour with BLOXX next month and an appearance at Liverpool Sound City in May.
