Track Of The Day :: SLEEPTAPE - NO

It might be a 'NO' from Newcastle four-piece SLEEPTAPE, but we are giving the thumbs up to this new single released last week.

The track, filled with intense soaring guitars, driving melodies and sharp, blistering vocals and incessant beat, comes as the "next chapter" for the band (whom we first heard back in 2017 with 'Glass Ceiling') since parting ways with their old bass player last November and bringing in Stephen Wetherall.

'NO' is a song "about feeling as if you’re running out of time to achieve what you want to, whilst struggling to cope with the noises and thoughts in your head of inadequacy," say the alt-rock outfit.
