Sometimes initially missing a song the first time round, is made up for when you catch it unexpectedly, and it then sticks around in your head for weeks after.
Come in Neon Waltz and 'David Lynch'. The track appears on the EP, 'Supernumerary 2’, which the band put out earlier this month - "second in a trio of demo EPs we are releasing this summer" - but which yours truly only heard when performed - stunningly -by vocalist Jordan Shearer at the recent online Sucker Music Week Festival, where he accompanied himself on keys for a stripped down, but highly effective, evocative version as the set opener. The vocals on both ars pristine over the dark melodies, building to a climactic finale.
