With the vibrant indie music scene in Australia and New Zealand constantly outshining much of the output from their British and American cousins, Little Indie picks our weekly bunch of some of the best new tracks on offer.

Released last week, Sydney indies miloviti follow their summer single 'Attachment Issues' with this self-produced new offering, which they say "will hit a chord with anyone who's Having A Really Rough Year. Particularly those of us who have experienced withdrawals after taking so many things for granted. It's a bit cute, but a bit wistful with a sprinkle of sad." Bittersweet vocals are backed with melodic guitars and bass.
TEENAGE DADS - THANK YOU FOR THE HONEY, HONEY
Melbourne's Teenage Dads return with this new track, 'Thank You for the Honey, Honey'. Continuing with their trademark indie-pop sound - and inspired by ABBA's 'Honey, Honey' - it touches on feelings of being deserted by someone close to you. The lyrics are juxtaposed sonically by its upbeat pop-rock feel. "It's about being left in the lurch by someone and the struggles of coping with that, and that while you're thankful for 'the honey', you fear the prospect of living an unfulfilling life," explains drummer Vincent.
INKLINES - LET YOU DOWN
Check out the lush ‘Let You Down’ from Sydney pop-rock trio - Will Tremain, Tom Bowden and Daniel Mulroney - Inklines' new EP, 'Book Club', released last week. The sub-three minute alt-rock number fills out with crunchy guitars, firm beats and a great vocal. “The song just came out of nowhere and it was the first time I felt like I’d been more creative and ‘weird’ with my songwriting. A funny thought now, but it was special at the time,” says vocalist Tremain.
WILL HYDE - DARK UNTIL SEPTEMBER
Melbourne singer-songwriter Will Hyde strips it all back for this heart exposing new single, coming from his debut EP, 'with u in mind', out on October 23. Mellow and melancholic, 'dark until september' is a slow-paced outing, with gliding vocals over guitar strums and beautfully worked beats. "I wrote ‘dark until september’ during a time in my life when everything was falling apart," he says. "I was evaluating a lot of things in my world - the person I had become, the person I wanted to be in the future and I had sort of fallen out of love with the music industry. I was searching for something in others and that left me feeling sort of empty. This is me looking for love inside myself in a time when all I felt was hopeless and tired."
COFFIN CLUB - GASLIGHT
Auckland, NZ punks Coffin Club offer another incendiary track from their recently released 'Nowhere Nowhere' debut EP, following last month's 'Going Down'. The explosive 'Gaslight' is a searing onslaught of sound that the trio have become known for, exposing a raw power and intensity.
