Welsh four-piece Al Moses follow their blistering ‘He Truly is the Son of God’released at the beginning of April, with new single 'Gutter Rock Moxie', out today via Big Indie Records.
The upbeat blaster, charged-on-moxie and fuelled by nostalgia, is the first song co-frontmen, Jack and Daf, wrote together, back in 2016. From Pentre Bach to Cardiff Central, the song describes the train journey the two would take to and from each other’s houses every week, as they dreamt of forming a band together.
“The song captures the ambition and fearlessness that we’ve always had since we were young, from writing songs ‘on the edge of the bed’, to playing around small venues like we are now. In a way the song is the story so far, but also laying down a marker for everything that’s still to come.”
'Gutter Rock Moxie' is the second track of a series of singles being released this year via Big Indie Records.
