Listen :: The Vacant Lots

New England psych duo The Vacant Lots have announced the release of their debut album ‘Departure' via Sonic Cathedral on June 30. The album was mixed and mastered by former Spacemen 3's Sonic Boom.

Take a listen to first single 'Mad Mary Jones' below.

The Vacant Lots’ primitive psych rock punk spirit, combined with the use of synths and drum machines has already won over Suicide’s Alan Vega, with whom they will be shortly working with. Another famous friend is former Galaxie 500 and Luna frontman (and now Sonic Cathedral labelmate) Dean Wareham, who plays guitar on ‘Tomorrow’. The band have recently supported Dean on his US East Coast dates and they will be heading to the UK as guests of The Brian Jonestown Massacre in June/July, before further European
and festival dates in September.
