Brooklyn-based Laughing Fingers are the duo (Chris Broom - vocals/guitar, Ian Taggart - drums), formed at the start of the year, who, hitherto, have put out several works via Bandcamp.
Out this month on cassette comes their new seven-track 'Two EPs', their follow-up to August's three-track release, 'i am not so pollyannaish', recorded with Julian Fader and Carlos Hernandez of Ava Luna.
You can hear lead cut 'Crutches' below. Starting off at a slow meandering pace it soon fires up with Broom's washed-out vocal, as it leads into some sludgey depths at points, interjected with some full-on guitar.
'Two EPs' is out on December 16 via Death Rehearsal Cassettes.
