Elephant Micah is about to release his twelfth studio album, 'Where In Our Woods', and streaming in advance is 'Slow Time Vultures', a heartfelt minimal folk song.
Elephant Micah - Joe O'Connell - crafts beautifully real and poignant lyricism with haunting vocals in a minimalist setting. Arrangements of a foreground nylon-string guitar and an antique portable pump organ, stripped-down drum set (played by Matthew O’Connell, Joe’s brother), baritone ukulele and toy recorder, all create room for O’Connell’s voice to breathe, while elevating and magnifying the poetry of his songs.
