** PREMIERE ** From The Tiger's Mouth - Family Tree

Words: Linn Branson

If the vocal sounds a little familiar but the name doesn't ring any bells, it may be because From The Tiger's Mouth is the side project of Harry Sullivan of Bengal Lancers - whose own new single 'Marathon' we recently premiered here.

Today, Little Indie turns its attention to 'Family Tree', the stunning debut single by From The Tiger's Mouth, released via Music Glue on March 18, and which we are delighted to share as a premiere here.

As you might expect if you are familiar with Sullivan's work with Bengal Lancers, 'Family Tree' is a deep and compelling four-minute track where the intense vocal is totally captivating, as a propulsive drum machine beat, looped guitar hooks and striking synths work in together around it.

"It's actually based on a real place," says Sullivan of the song. "My friend owns a hostel in Nicaragua - it's an enormous tree house in the jungle. I spent some of the best days of my life there and it made me realise that home really is where the heart is. It's the people that make a place matter the most."
