The second Coachella festival weekend taking place in California has seen a number of artists all paying tribute to Prince, who died earlier this week.
As the festival’s palm trees and floodlights were lit in a purple haze, LCD Soundsystem covered Prince’s 'Controversy', Ellie Goulding included 'When Doves Cry', and Sufjan Stevens joined with R&B singer Gallant for a rendition of 'Purple Rain'. Watch all three here.
Other offerings were rapper Joey Bada$$ playing part of '1999', Mavis Staples delivering the chorus of 'Purple Rain', and Jack Ü closed their set with a Prince medley.
