Washington DC-based Eva Moolchan - aka Sneaks - has captured an apt title here for this EP taster, for 'True Killer' is... a killer track.
At just 1:22, its drone hypnotics will not bore you, as will neither will Eva's Jehnny Beth-like entrancing vocals over a post-punk, minimalist drum 'n' bass beat.
'True Killer' appears on 'Gymnastics', Sneaks' EP which was first released last year but is now seeing a re-release through Merge Records on September 9. An album is set for early 2017.
