Willie J Healey released new single 'Greys' on Friday (February 17) via National Anthem/Columbia Records. The follow-up to last year's 'Would You Be' is a garage-rock burst, shot through alternative-pop melodies.
Recorded and produced by Willie himself, the track has evolved from its early, stripped-back beginnings in its discussion, he says, of "the feeling of routine and boredom. It's about believing that nobody would even notice if you were abducted, in this case by aliens."
Catch Willie on tour in April, including a headline show at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire. He will also play Phil Taggart's Slacker night on March 24.
