We are not too clued up on the Danish language, but duo AyOwA certainly do it justice with latest single 'Fri' - which, although actually was released last Friday (May 5), we think may translate as 'free'.
It is taken from from the debut EP 'Eremit' by the electronic two-piece - Hannah Schneider and Nicolai Kornerup - out on May 19.
Combining modular synths with Hannah's ethereal Danish vocal, an uplifting catchy chorus melodies and their signature vocal samples, AyOwA create something as ethereally melancholic and soulful as it is 'free'.
