Newcastle-based five-piece Profumo release their second EP ‘Cosy Catastrophe’ on November 10 of what they describe as “capsized yacht rock” .

We're not quite sure what that is exactly, but if this cut from it, ‘Silly Season Is Over’, is anything to go by - mellow instrumentation, flowing vocals and brushed percussion - we're liking it!

“Silly Season is one of the songs we’re proudest of from ‘Cosy Catastrophe’," say the band, "as it’s one of the first tracks we’ve put out that only really sounds like us; it’s ended up as some strain of moody Northumbrian exotica which I don’t think people are really bombarded with at the moment”.

Profumo play Newcastle's Mining Institute on November 11.
