Track Of The Day :: Sisteray - Algorithm Prison
Words: Sam Geary
Sounding like it's jumped straight from the heart of the punk 70s, Sisteray fire off on a tangent on upcoming single, 'Algorithm Prison', the band's biting new track referencing the digital age we're living in, while the Cambridge Analytica scandal continues to swirl around us.
“We ain’t your target market,” singer Niall Rowan emits on this visceral attack on social media algorithms and they way they can creep into our lives, as electrifying guitars wail over 160 minutes of driving rhythms.
'Algorithm Prison' is out now through Vallance Records, ahead of their follow-up EP to last year's '15 Minutes' and their upcoming appearance at The Great Escape later this week.
