Newly signed to the Wichita Recordings label, our cuddly Indoor Pets (formerly monikered as Get Inuit) say ‘Hi’ as they make their first intro for the label.
Co-produced by the band’s guitarist James Simpson and Kristofer Harris, and mixed by Claudius Mittendorfer (Weezer, Ash, Yak, Parquet Courts), 'Hi', leads off with Jamie Glass' laconic, endearing vocals that deliver their trademark witty, self-depreciating lyrics, laid over a raft of infectious hooks in a jaunty little three minutes of fuzzy power-pop. With nostalgic melodies, 'Hi' displays all the Pets' quirkiness at best.
