On a cold, crisp October night, Brighton homeboys Sons put on a Halloween special at the Prince Albert with a few guests to cast a few spells of musical bewitchment.
Brighton band Gulls launch the gig tonight on their broomsticks and deliver some message-driven indie punk songs with plenty of attitude.
Setlist:
Quinoa Warrior / Shop / No Older / Little Lout / All This Will Be Yours / Flaws/ Shame Shame Shame / Bad Publicity
From further along the Sussex coast at Worthing come The Bitter Pills, a fuzz-blues two-piece comprises of Nico Blake Sc'erri on lead vocals and guitar, and James Murrell kn drums. Full of 70s style drums and resounding guitar riffs.
Here We Come / The Automator / On My Way / I’m Going / Hang 13 / Shackles / Wait and See / We Will Fight Back / Lover Man / Shake Ya Hips
Brothers Nick and Lee Meldrum - aka Sons - have been tearing up the proverbial since birth, and tonight is no exception. With heavy drums and grinding guitars along with a DIY punk attitude, they kick up enough fury to raise the ghost of Prince Albert himself.
Setlist:
Reptile / Sweat / Bodies / The Sermon / Cliche / Love Song / Princess / Zealot / Natural / Punk
