Showing he's lost none of the moves coupled with the louche flair he exhibited in former guise as a member of Palma Violets, Chilli Jesson now debuts his first Crewel Intentions single, ‘Youth In Overload’

Dropping today (October 25), there's a certain restrained sentimemtal melancholia to the number, yet it breaks every so often into dramatic bursts that drive it on. It's interesting and the accompanying video, directed by Jak Payne, provides a watchable adjunct.

Cruel Intentions support Johnny Marr on tour next month, with their own headline date at London’s Electrowerkz on November 21.
