The 24-hour virtual #loverecordstores event, which will take place on Saturday June 20, has announced the list of the many special releases that will be available to music fans.
Set up to raise awareness of the challenges currently being faced by record stores across the UK, Fontaines D.C., Mystery Jets, Porridge Radio, Marika Hackman, Circa Waves and many more have been announced to perform on the day.
#loverecordstores is partnering with a wide range of record labels who have already pledged to make special limited edition releases available via over 130 independent record stores available to buy at participating stores' websites from 9am on the day.
Also included as a part of the live stream are Orlando Weeks, John Grant, Craig David, NZCA Lines, BC Camplight, Temples, Tim Burgess, Black Pumas, Ren Harvieu and many more. There will also be DJ sets from Four Tet, Metronomy, Confidence Man, Daniel Avery, Kelly Lee Owens, The Go! Team, Nabihah Iqbal, Erol Alkan, Richard Russell.
All programming will be available to watch for free, with donations encouraged for the #saveourvenues campaign, with further donation links to Black Lives Matter and the Covid-19 relief fund also available.
