Gwenllian Anthony (from the Welsh band Adwaith) and Matthew Kilgariff (who has toured as a session musician with Adwaith) came together as Tacsidermi during lockdown, moving into Matthew’s studio in rural Carmarthenshire and working on Tacsidermi's debut single.
The resulting ‘Gwir’ - joined by David Newington (Boy Azooga) on drums and mixed by Matthew Evans (KEYS) - with its 90s baggy groove, neo-psychedelic textures and Flaming Lips twisted popness, is a bold first statement.
