Mt. Wolf, the London-based exponents of 'dreamfolk' have announced the release of their new single 'Midnight Shallows', which will be out on September 11 through Third Rock Recordings. The track will be available to buy from this date, with the single bundle released on November 4.

'Midnight Shallows' once again showcases Mt. Wolf' unique sound, seamlessly mixing cinematic electronic soundscapes, heart-wrenching vocals with more traditional instruments. It is a deeply personal track, inspired by lead vocalist Kate Sproules' coming of age and the existential crisis that can come attached. "he song is really about destruction and the world being turned upside down,"explains Kate. "It's about realising for the first time others' and your own mortality and the personal crisis that comes with that." The single is backed by b-side 'Swarm', a compellingly ethereal track about dealing with a toxic relationship.
To mark the release of 'Midnight Shallows', Mt. Wolf are set to embark on their next UK headline tour in November, which will culminate in a headline show at London's Heaven on November 12.
