The Brighton electronica pop duo Iyes - Josh Christopher and Melis Soyaslanova - are releasing a new single, which is out now on iTunes but will also be available through new London-based boutique label, Duly Noted.
Following previous demos 'Lighthouse' and 'Glow', it was almost expected that Iyes would turn out something of equally good comparison, and with this three-minute number, produced by the band themselves and mixed by Adrian Breakspear, they don't disappoint. Synth layers, tribal drums, big chorus and catchy melody it has all the makings of not only being one to linger in your head after the first hearing, but one you'll want to return to again - and again.
Iyes play Brighton's Dome Studio Bar on November 22, and Servant Jazz Quarters, London on November 25.
