Track Of The Day :: Glitches - RGB
Glitches seem unable to make a bad single; previous efforts 'Warm Seas' and 'Only Time Will Tell' both washed over one like a melodic shower of warm rain. So one would not expect their latest work, 'RGB', to be any less heart-warming and delicious. And it isn't. Out December 2 on Club Kissability, it is a darkly melting piece of loveliness, which has echoes of early Foals, against a backdrop of soaring orchestration and chocolate-smooth, soul-rich vocals.
Watch the video below to accompany the track. Directed and choreographed by Holly Blakey (who previously worked with Jessie Ware), it utilises a choreographed dance form, in which the three Glitches members themselves take part. These could just be dance moves that the band may well see replicated by fans at their next gigs.
And talking of which, Glitches are to play a series of shows over the next fortnight, culminating with three release party dates in London. All are Free Entry, except for London.
