Painted Palms are cousins Reese Donahue and Christopher Prudhomme who grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana, before the former moved to San Francisco, while Prudhomme remained near New Orleans. Now with both in San Francisco, the psych-pop duo are about to release their first album 'Forever'.
After releasing their debut EP, 'Canopy' in 2011, they followed this with a 2-track 7″ 'Carousel' in March of this year, and then the 'Nothing Lasts' EP three months later. In between recording Painted Palms have opened on tour for such bands as Braids, of Montreal and STRFKR.
