[Video] CYMBALS - Erosion
"Getting away, I’m an ocean/Try to make erosion/Happen in the day..."
The lead single from CYMBALS' 'The Age of Fracture' album, that dreamy wash of synth and guitars, now has an equally dreamy music video.
Unveiled today, Matthew Reed's video is intended to satirize internet culture, as described by Stephen Pietrzykowski of the band's label Tough Love Records: "The Buzzfeed/clickbait/endless-rivers-of-meaningless-shit aesthetic that’s come to dominate how a majority of people engage with the internet, and the way this was subsequently
seeping into the production of art.”
CYMBALS head to Texas next week to play dates at SXSW, with a handful of confirmed UK dates set for early summer.
