We Are Us are a new and rather interesting Italian indie punk duo with Silvio Pasqualini on vocals, bass, guitar, synth, and Maddalena Zavatta supplying vocals and guitar. What the Rimini pair do is take the punk drive, and combine it with Maddalena's velvet smooth and gentle vocal, such as here on 'My Best Days', one of several tracks they have posted online.
Making their entrance last year with the three-track EP 'And This Is You' they showed a slightly Warpaint-esque side on standout track 'Call Me'.
There is not a lot else around about We Are Us, but worth keeping the name in mind.
