Kasabian Play Their 'Leicester Knebworth' With 21 Song Set

With their latest album '48:13' entering the Official Album Chart at Number One last weekend (June
15), giving them their fourth Number One album, Kasabian stormed home to play to 50,000 fans tonight (June 21) at Leicester's Victoria Park - a show they had compared to Oasis' Knebworth appearance in 1996.

Playing a 21 song set that included both old and new material, they gave a taste of what to expect when they headline the Pyramid Stage next Sunday night at this year’s Glastonbury Festival. Songs included the likes of 'Club Foot', 'LSF (Lost Souls Forever)' and 'Processed Beats' from their 2004 self-titled debut album, through to five songs  from the just released '48.13' album, including lead single 'Eez-eh'.

The event celebrated Kasabian's 10th anniversary and was the largest staged in the park since BBC Radio 1's One Big Sunday concerts in 2001 and 2003.
