Not too many bands do we hear of up and thrusting from New Zealand - at least, ones that are sticking their heads up amongst the sheep and making their name in the UK - so good to hear of one bracing themselves from Rangiora (which we think may be near Christchurch): Transistors.
A three-piece power pop outfit (James Harding on guitar vocals, Colin Roxburgh - bass/vocals, Olly Crawford-Ellis, drums/vocals), they formed after meeting at high school and in 2012 toured the US - playing 27 shows in 30 days and travelling 12,000 miles across 33 states.
They released their second album 'Is This Anything?' last year, and have now put out a new video for the track 'Professional' taken from the 14-album. Check them out on BANDCAMP for more.
