Los Angeles-based duo Freedom Fry release their new EP 'The Wilder Mile' on August 5.
Check out the video to the title track below. Apart from the nice legs (hers, we're guessing) and shoes (his), this is a catchy little whistle-along-to track whose appeal lies in its likeable melody and toe-tapping beat.
Comprised of Parisian songstress Marie Seyrat, and Michigan-born Bruce Driscoll, Freedom Fry where they formed in 2011 to create their brand of lo-fi retro pop which they have self-recorded and released over three EPs and four singles.
Since their last release they built their own home studio and have written and recorded an album’s worth of new music - a taste of which is forthcoming on the new EP.
Freedom Fry play an EP release show at Chris Douridas' (KCRW) School Night at Bardot on August 4, followed by a Blue Microphone event at the Sunset Marquis on the 22nd.
