Ed Sheeran Heads List Of Top 40 Best Selling Albums Of 2014

Ed Sheeran is currently in pole position with his second LP 'X' topping a list of the Top 40 biggest selling albums of the year compiled by the Official Charts Company. This means the acclaimed album has now been certified 2x Platinum by the BPI - the music trade body that represents the UK's record labels.

Other British artists like Coldplay, Paolo Nutini, Kasabian, Royal Blood and Sam Smith also feature: 90 per cent of the Top 10 best sellers of the year being UK acts.
