Pink Floyd Reveal New Song - Listen Here

Pink Floyd's David Gilmour and Nick Mason have announced they will release their first album together in 20 years on. The 18-track 'The Endless River' is due on November 10. It will also be their final album.

In anticipation of the release of 'The Endless River', they have put out an early taster with 'Louder Than Words' - the only track on the album to feature lead vocals sung by GIlmour. The lyrics embrace the full history of the band, with GIlmour singing, “We bitch and we fight/ But this thing that we do/ It’s louder than words/ The sum of our parts/ The beat of our hearts/ It’s louder than words.”

The band confirmed this week that the album will be their last together, although Gilmour did add that he may use some sessions he recorded with keyboardist Rick Wright, who died in 2008, for a new solo record.

Former member Roger Waters played no part on the new album, and recently issued a statement via Facebook saying that he had nothing to do with the album and that he is no longer a member of the band. Drummer Nick Mason had said that he would be interested in a full band reunion with Waters.

Astrophysicist Stephen Hawking has a cameo vocal on the new album, with his computerised voice featuring on 'Talkin Hawkin'.
