It's not often a new artist comes up with such an intriguing debut song as has Desert Sound Colony with 'The Way I Began', the title, and first, track to come from his debut EP. Or for that matter, release a totally compelling video to accompany it.
Other than that, there is virtually nothing known about the artist, except for his seemingly being British. The figure of Parinay Mehta who graces the shoreline of the video - directed by Alex Hulsey - which such artistry in movement, has the most hypnotically watchable pair of hands to be caught on film. It's unnerving, serene, ethereal; a pulsing beat that accompanies the evocatively siren-esque vocal.
